Rev. Wilfred Dimingu
Harare, Zimbabwe
Rev. Wilfred Dimingu is the General Secretary of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC), where he provides strategic leadership to national ecumenical work on governance, peacebuilding, and social transformation.
An ordained minister in the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe, Rev. Dimingu brings over two decades of pastoral, administrative, and public leadership experience to his work.
He serves as Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Inter-Religious Council and Executive Secretary of the Zimbabwe Heads of Christian Denominations — key platforms that convene faith leaders for national dialogue, advocacy, and social cohesion.
Regionally, he serves as Board Chairperson of the Economic Justice Network of FOCCISA. Locally, he is a Board Member of the Zimbabwe Association of Church-Related Hospitals, advancing justice, human dignity, and community welfare.
A theologian committed to social justice and leadership development, he holds a Master's in Theology, Leadership and Administration, a Master's in Business Leadership, and a BA Honours in Religious Studies and Theology. His scholarship focuses on decolonial theology, social transformation, and public theology. He is currently a PhD student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
